Hi all, thinking of buying a couple of new lights, NJD SWORD2, NJD Chaos 2 Automoon, NJD Chaos 2 Kaleidoscope.

Q, Which 2 would you recomend out of the three.

None to be honest Steve, Have a look at the Acme range from Prolight.
Take a look at the Hallucination, Fascination etc

Excellent optics very bright and similarly priced to the effects you mentioned !!

None of the above - just bought three old style datamoons and they are the dogs dangly - really impressed.

Look out on ebay for 2nd hand, should pick up a pair for about £120

(or even look here in DJ bids)

I would personally fork out an extra £10 for datamoons .... DMX effects very good optics, great spread good for the money they now are.

or alternatively the EVL spin 250 is now only £99 a real bargain again a dmx effect and I think good old Blighty built. Martin also now do a budget end in the Raptor and T-Rex both which you may want to have a look at?

If you budget allows it the Acme Dynamo scanners are very good value for money. about £300 for 4 units now.

With Dragonfly, get yourself some EV spins, exactly the same as my lfx revolvers but less cash! They are awesome for the money

If only id gone direct to evl , would have bought 2 pairs for what I paid!
