Advertising offers

I have received two offers in the last few days to buy "leads" from Wedding sites at a £1 a time.

What they dont mention is that they also send the same lead to several other operators on the same site which reduces the chance of success.

Anyone got any experience and whats the completion rate?

One site told me it was one in 10---but then again if 3 other people get the lead as well:eek: :eek: :eek:

Mind you I do better than that off my own site which costs me £30 a year.

Wouldnt bother K especially considering the cold calling laws in this country. Website works out beter even a free YP listing.

Crazy - I completely agree with spin.

If you got their phone numbers, how would you know if they'd registered with the telephone preference service not to receive cold calls?

More trouble that it's worth...I'd stick with your website!
