you need to go to a companu called MT FX www.mtfx.com (http://www.mtfx.com/) this is where i get mine from, they do a great air powered connon, it made by a french company whos name i can't remember !

If you are looking for a good confetti option for weddings and birthdays i can highly recommend buying the market leaders for event and theatre companies Le Maître. The other systems are good BUT personally I'd stick to le maître as they have been around for many many years....

And unless you are doing football stadiums or gigs for 1000+ people you won't need the barrel (dustbin look) or CO2 systems.... and quite frankly the CO2 systems should only be used by experts and can be very dangerous is used wrongly.

For standard discos and functions rooms go for the 2 way firing system which is....

One of these

and then use these (usually around £16 per cartridge)

And you'll find 2 cartridges will fill the dance floor and most of the room if fired off your lighting rig at around 2m high... From my experience go with the Chinese confetti cartridges rather than the actually standard confetti as the Chinese ones are strips and float in the air longer. Then when firing fire 1 first then leave it for about 5 seconds before firing the second to prolong the confetti experience.

BUT REMEMBER

confetti systems and pyrotechnics are VERY dangerous and you should be very wary and cautious when using them.... Oh and check if you insurance covers you should anything go wrong as some may not!

yes terralec do one or if you know someone who is good with making stuff they could make one but you got to remember some venues dont let you use them

Minor detail, get the customer to fire it, then if asked who done that, i,ll point the manager in the direction of the client, while running out the back door

but then isnt it better to ask the venue owner if its ok more professional
just tape 100 partypoppers together
or get a tube that you put old camera film in put a steradent tablet in the bottom with a bit of water in with it and put the lid on put it on the floor and stand back
nothing to do with confetti cannons but its good fun
