extra screen advice needed

I need a little help, i don't normally do karaoke, but have been asked to do it for one particular night in the pub i DJ at.

I have an external hard drive with the cdg files and that works fine with my pcdj fx kj software, the problem i have is in wanting to add an extra screen to view the lyrics only.

I use an acer laptop so i can plug an extra moniter in easily enough, but it shows the same image as the laptop screen, is there a way to make "just" show the lyrics, than you in advance.

Try right-clicking the desktop, going to 'settings' and look to see if there are 2 monitors listing in the pull down box. If there is, select the second monitor, and check the box which says 'extend my windows desktop onto this monitor'. Then, depending on which software you use, you should be able to have the karaoke graphics window covering the whole of the second monitor.

If that doesn't work, then I don't know! :)
