well i ment the show directors for powering effects on my truss would it b 99 punds worth spent or is there a cheaper option i have a dmx controller so just need to power the irock heads

i have a botex scan master but i ment to get the mains power 2 the heads without messy cables on truss

I think you mean the Show director, as in the 8-way control panel, with a low-voltage cable running up to a switch pack to allow you to switch each effect individually?

If you want to switch your effects instead of using DMX, then this is probably your best solution, without having to make your own cables/blocks etc. So yes.

I have something similar - square plastic boc, 6 IEC females on one side and an on of swich and a male on the side - bingo, one IEC lead feeds power and everything distributed power from the cross bar - if that makes sense.

I have one of those IEC switch things shown above, but to be honest, too much like ahrd work!

Seriously, I did use one of these:

but found that I had to run a power cable from each light. As they were all DMX and used CA-8's, it seemed pointless.
