I have 2 JBL Eon powered 15's and am looking for a sub.Can I just use one Eon sub with those or do I need 2?

Any advice would be appreciated

If it's a powered sub then you can use one or more.

800w rms powered someone told me they were good.
i got a 600w powered carlsbro sub not a bad sub

I tried them against the Mackie and they sounded better to me -are they not used much?

well most of the people on here seem to like the mackies but i saw a band use the mackies at a gig and they needed a fan to cool them down over heating so i went for the king of speakers the jbl

That was an old problem which generally doesn't happen any more.

tbh i had jbl's and fpund the sound harsh, much prefer the mackies although much heavier than jbl's.

sound harsh well it all personal taste but i must abmit mackies are a bit more bassie
