Mention a little while ago i was needing to buy or make some flight cases. So I decided to make them. Bought a power circular saw and MAN I felt powerful! What a rush!!!
Cases nearly finished but need to be foam lined. Designed them all based on the 12mm thick stuff that they sell at Terralec, but supprise supprise, now out of stock! Anyone know where I can get sheets of this? Most of the places I have looked so far seem to sell 1 inch thick, which is too thick for me!
Will post pics when finished, they certainly look good so far!

Being a upholsterer in my spare time (during the day) I get the foam you want, however its blue as its seating foam, will that do and it comes in 8x4 sheets, I will ask if the do grey, let me know cheers.
Now if you want casters i got a big box full of em
cheers

Watch this space... deffinately interested. Is it the slightly firmer stuff? Blue will probably be ok, I mean I am the only one who's going to see it, but grey would be even better!
How much?
And how much for the casters - or did I miss something?

I remember Corabar Steve recommended Adam Hall, when I was thinking about making a case for my cd/mixer/amp etc. In the end I just brought a Road Ready one. Buying all the bits separately is quite expensive (I found).
Foam is here (& I saw 12mm).http://www.adamhall.com/uk/AH_K--Flightcase-Foam__l--en__p--sysshop_2__k--36__f--1

Today I spoke to the comapny i deal with and they only do Blue foam, any size though, sorry bout that, but if it helps let me know.
There are companies that do it, look in the yellow pages for 'foam engineers' the nearset one to me are called Didcot foam engineers but they are a big company and the cost of delivery might outway the cost of the foam.
I will keep looking for yer, because I'm after some too
