Hi, I have used the site BEFORE for advice but not signing in as a newbie,(very sorry!).
I've just re-started a mobile dj career after 15 years.I,ve had 3 bookings since February so i think i,m slowly getting there!
I ached a bit for the first two!
I am using four 15" skytech full range at the moment,(don,t laugh).
C- Lab 1000 Watt
2 X Moving Heads
I tried using a couple of Acme,s lent to me but the clients kept squinting as it was'nt that type of "do".
I specialise really in 80's soul and funk with splashes of 70's disco.I warm up with modern RnB and tend to throw this in peak time too.I do use cd's(Numark) but use my trusty SL1200's too.
I have had 25 years of Dj experience but mainly club work.I have met Mr Loyla at the DMC's in the past when they used to use the brilliant live forums.
I am shortly looking to upgrade my gear.I am really looking into the Class D as i,ve heard it gives good "bottom end"(hey ho!).
I am based in London, and do a bit of flash web design work so my site will be up and running as well.Once business gets going, one of the first things i will do is put a few quid into this site as it has REALLY helped me.

Hi there.... I won't say 'welcome', as you've been around a while, but I'm glad you decided to say 'hello' properly and tell us a bit about yourself.

Glad you're finding the Site useful! ;)

Feel free to join in anywhere that takes your fancy: one thing this site certainly isn't is a 'closed shop'!

:D :D :D :D
