Hi have any of you djs ever dealt with discoworld before.i placed an order for a 4foot goalpost deck stand £75 and a wiltech kaleido light £110 last week but as yet i still have not received them.
i normally order from ukdj.com and get a great service normally next day but they were out of stock at the time.
Discoworld seem to have good prices and were offering an extra 10% of last weekend.its maybe apc that the delay is with,if nothing by tomorrow then ill phone them up.

I personally always ring next day from order to confirm shipping, if it wasnt shipped I ask why not and hussle things along. But thats just me always impatient to try out new toys. Ukdj.com are pretty fast so are decks.co.uk and ebdj.co.uk but i have ordered from some places to recieve goods very late if at all. aahhhemmm overclockers .co.uk put in order 10 feb still ahvent recieved after numerous calls, emails .etc.

You will not get an answer tomorrow or Wednesday as Darren will be at a seminar with Peavey on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The shop will be open again from Thursday.

Surprised you have had problems all my dealings with DiscoWorld(and I have had quite a few) have gone really well, and when I did have a problem Darren sorted it out without delay.

I've dealt with Discoworld several times and the service has always been first class.

Me too, bought a range of stuff from Darren and there's never been any problems.

personally i would use www.djanddiscostuff.com from darlington they will try and beat any price

I ordered a pair of Acme Winners with flight case with their 10% off deal they worked out a good price, although they didn't say they were out of stock on the webb site but they did e mail me to say they will be 2 weeks at least, I must say I was a bit surprised they charged my card straight away.
Hope they are not too much longer,all other dealings I have had with them have been good.

Got a cd player from them not too long ago service great. Got the cd player plugged it in and nothing it got picked up the next day and new one sent back to me with in days and its been fine ever since.

I mean... at the most you'll have been waiting 5 working days which isn't exactly in the league terrible service.

Personally i'd have given them a ring before moaning about them on a public forum...

Well after no delivery after a week of ordering i thought i better give discoworld a ring and find out whats what.as it was darren forgot about my order and was very appologetic.my order is now expected for monday delivery.

At least he was honest about it - we all make mistakes, its how we resolve the situation that matters.
