For whoever it was that expressed such disdain at the 'Word Association' threads here's something that plays to the inner music archivist/historian in all of us...

Anyone can set up the start and finish artists or songs, and they have to have a sample answer in mind just in case no-one can finish the game within, let's say, three days.

In order to be a valid answer the starting artist or song is #1 and the destination artist or song is #7 or better.

Example

Alice Cooper to Britney Spears

#1 - Alice Cooper performed 'No More Mr Nice Guy'
#2 - 'No More Mr Nice Guy' was covered by Megadeth
#3 - Dave Mustaine of Megadeth used to play for Metallica
#4 - Metallica's 'Until it Sleeps' was remixed by Moby (Herman Melville Remix)
#5 - The Fafu Remix of Moby's song 'Honey' features Kelis on guest vocals.
#6 - Kelis' song 'Caught Out There' was remixed by The Neptunes.
#7 - Pharrell of the Neptunes did the 'Co-Ed Remix' of 'Boys' by Britney Spears

To get the ball rolling...

Gwen Stefani to Michael Bublé...

I hate to say it, but I think that's way too complicated....

Nah, I think everyone understands how six degrees of separation works,

If that's true, how come no-one has posted? :p

Do you listen to the BBC radio 2 over the internet??? In particular, Saturday afternoons.

Nope, too many CDs/MP3s to bother with radio ;)

Oh, well, it was a valiant attempt, I think...

#1 - Gwen Stefani mentions Vivienne Westwood in 'Rich Girl'
#2 - Vivienne Westwood is linked in several ways with Malcolm McLaren
#3 - Malcolm McLaren Managed the Sex Pistols
#4 - Sid Vicious of The Sex Pistols performed Sinatra's 'My Way'
#5 - Michael Bublé has performed numerous songs that are linked with Sinatra

Never mind. Next idea.
