hey guys, i am about to transfer all my cds to go onto a laptop. whats the best way to do it. Im going to get an external hardrive to connect to laptop. would it be easier to copy the cds from my main computer with external hardrive connected and copy that way????? hope that makes sence...cheers.:beer1:

The best way is to search the forum for the posts that appear each week asking the same question.

For the second part, I'd rip to an internal hard drive and then copy to an external one, should work quicker that way.
