Guys,
my site is hosted through 123-Reg and seems to have gone, all there is is a blank white screen.

I've no doubt its something i've done as I was trying to do web forwarding and now nothing!

My site is at .org.uk but I also own the domains .net and.co.uk and was trying to forward them to the .org.uk then it all went Pete Tong.

Any web gurus help me out?

www.spiritshigh.net forwards to the .org.uk but the .co.uk doesn't.

Either way, there's nothing there as you say. You seem to have broken it.

123-reg is one of the registrars / hosts I've never actually had to deal with so I have no experience of their control panel...so I'm afraid I'm not much help to you :(

Nameserver settings seem fine, just go into your control panel and see what's up....maybe get onto 123-reg support as I'm sure they'll be able to tell you what you've done...

It looks like the domain for http://www.spiritshigh.org.uk/ is being forwarded to http://www.spiritshigh.co.uk/. If your site is actually at http://www.spiritshigh.org.uk/ then you shouldn't need to forward that domain.

Thanks so far , will go into the control panel and see what I can do.

Have also emailed 123 to see what they reckon.

I've just logged into my 123-reg account to see how it works.

Select the domain http://www.spiritshigh.org.uk/ and click on modify domain

Select Web Forwarding

Select No Web Forwarding

then click on Update Web Forwarding button at the bottom

Tony, just tried that and it as "no forwarding" and it just goes to a hold page!

As an update, have just finally got through to 123 support and they've reset the DNS and it should be back up within 24hrs.

In the meantime she said to leave it alone!

It's called propagation. DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect for everyone.

Over a period of time different visitors can see different results, depending on their browser's cache, their ISP's cache and whether the DNS update has taken effect at their ISP...

To get around your or your ISP's cache, press CTRL-f5 when viewing it.

You think? I'm now getting the 123-reg holding page! (no joke)

EDIT: Get a decent host (wink wink (http://www.djbids.co.uk/auctiondetails.php?itemname=1-Months-Web-Hosting&id=152))
