Hi guys 'n' gals
Dont know if i should post this here or somewhere els maby think of getting a section where we can post our gig reports on the forum. Just an idea.
So had a 40th last night was a blast in a half. Turned up at the venue very nice place set the rig up (early set-up) was sitting having a drink looking at the rig thinking what i was gonna buy next for it lol the birthday girl turned up with her girls to get the food ready etc was talking to them for a bit and was going throught what i thought i would do during the night. I thought i would play an hour of 80s tunes as she said she was an 80s fan so asked her if it was ok to play an hour of 80s from around 10 - 11.
"Yeah that sounds fab" so was playing the usuall tunes you play at a 40th etc then came 10 i thought might clear the floor as there was a lot of young people there as well but boy am a glad i played an hour of 80s. The floor was packed with young and old they loved it. So came the end of the night 12.00 and said the closing lines "Have you had fun , good night etc. The amount of people that came up to me and said the night was great but the highlight had to be the 80s hour it was a great feeling to know that everyone enjoyed themself. Gave out a load of biz cards , flyers etc and got a call just as i was writting this from her mates 40th in june. GREAT NIGHT LADS. Just thought i would share my great night with you all.
