Ok, I've got a coutersy car/van at the moment why the beloved Kangoo is having some work done to it. (Car is a Kangoo van 1.7 desiel (also brand new 150 miles on the clock and 07 reg) - mine is the car version 1.2 and petrol).

I love it lol, I don't really want to give it back, so I'm highly considering an upgrade. Having looking on Auto Trader my car is worth about £5-6k considering it doesn't even have 6k miles on the clock. The van version is slightly bigger, and I can fit everything in (6 speakers (inc 2 subs)) full rig etc, although this does put the passenger seat out of action, as the deck stand has to go over the headrest - So ideally I need something bigger.

I like the idea of a Renault Master or a Ford Transit. Only the next size up from the Kangoo - so nothing massive.

I've looked on Auto Trader, and cannot find either a Master or a Transit, so where is my best place to look on the web? Is there a similar site to Auto Trader for vans or what? Or am I being plain stupid?

Cheers guys :)

Lol will :D How much is your insurance on the kangoo? Did you get any insurance quotes for something transit sized?

My Kangoo (1.2 petrol) (5 seater is 2.2k) transit 2.5 / kangoo 1.7 /master 2.5 /trafic 1.7 (all diesel) are around 1.8-9k. So considerablly cheaper for a considerablly bigger engine.

The bigger engined diesels may be bigger and more powerful, but they chug along compared to your Kangoo. My mum has a 1.6L petrol Kangoo car and it zips along faster than either a 2.0L petrol or 2.5L diesel Transit, but the van will carry way more weight without slowing it down toooooo much

So why does my courtesy car 1.7 diesel (also a kangoo...but the van version - 2 seats) have better acceleration?

Because it's small and light? More so than a transit anyway.
