Looking for some help deciding which scanners are best (2 of).

Mojo Spinmaster III

or

Roller Scanner Rainbow 250-II

Looking to spend around £200 ish (E-bay)

or these brand new

Acme Super Leo 2 - two head pack (£199)

Acme Super Schimitar 2 - two head pack (£199)

Smart SSC-2 (£99 each)

Any help appreciated (and any other suggestions).

I've already got 2 acme magic Gobo's, 4 Soundlab Vite (moons - non dmx but linked), 1 x Source Murchiealago, 4 Double Mushrooms (getting rid of these as I'm downsizing) and 2 Soundlab Venda (again getting rid).

I was going to change the car, but decided on downsizing the equipment and getting smaller but better stuff.

Thanks

For me it would be the Leo's i've got 4 of them and they're great.

Had Scimiters but found they were too fast.

I wouldnt touch the spinmaster as the polarity is different to normal dmx scanners and you have to get a different controller ive had 2 of them good light but hard to work out
good luck

Or you just make a lead to swap the polarity, or re-wire the connectors on the lights.

I'm using two Spin III's DMX'ed with 4 Acme Dynamos, 2 Datamoons & a dimmer pack. Worked straight out of the box with the Velleman USB controller and standard cables (apart from the 3-to-5 way adaptor for the moons). I love the audio modes on the Spins... very intuitive movement to sound. Shame they only appear as bright as the 100W Dynamos even though they're 250W!!

I too have a couple of Mojo Spin I's. The polarity is correct, not reversed.
