Couple of points based on my first impressions.

1) The background pic behind the text makes it hard to read.

2) Your contact details need to be in big text on the top banner, they don't stand out enough at the moment just being on that business card image.

Other than that, its nice and easy to find your way around and lots on information there.. well done!

and i wouldnt say the data moons are the best lighting effect wat i want to know is who voted the data moons maybe best budget lighting effect but have been around for ages not getting at sound master but njd

Get rid of the background pic, it's way too heavy for the text.

I agree, the backgound doesnt work it makes it far too busy.

Generally looks OK, doesn't need a lot of work but a few minor changes could make all the difference: -

1) The spark.gif animation at the top is a little distracting.

2) The soundmastercard.jpg image should be in exactly the same position whenever it's shown, it tends to jump about a bit.

3) As others have said, the background is too busy and makes the contrast with the text bad in parts.

4) PLI and PAT validators should be made to fit a black background (they have white edges).

5) Your logo at the top should be a link to your homepage on every page (except your homepage).

6) Could do with a contact form instead of just the email link in the navigation.

7) The drop shadow effect doesn't look in your galleries as they're made for a white background.

8) The "Alandon" web design is a little large and stands out as it's on a white background, I hope they gave you a massive discount ;)

9) The XHTML compliant tick - who really cares?

10) The Lion Rampant animated flag is a bit "cheesy" on the Hogmany page.

Nice home page, but looks a bit cluttered. Yes i think the text is slightly hard to read with the lights picture in the background. Apart from that.. :approve:
