Help!!! Microphone capsules

I have two mics....a fender p51 and a academy E-2006 and neither work. Having had them apart and checked with a volt meter all i can assume is that both the capsules have gone.

Which is weird as although the academy hasn't worked for ages as i suspect it was dropped on tour several years ago, i had the fender working intermittently and when i found it was the switch was a little dodgy, i bypassed it with the leeds inside and it worket for a few minutes...untill i put it back together.....again upon checking with the volt meter, all the conections + leeds were fine.....HELP!!!!

Any suggestions.....if not where can i find some good quality capsules to replace them, as the academy is a good mic and i would like to keep it that way..

Check for simple things like a shorts between the mic case and insert connections. A simple bit of pvc tape would sort that. Or you could find the manafacturer of your mics and order a replacemnt part.
