New web design!

Well after looking at mine and think "it looks like the back hole of calcutta!!" and not matching my new logo, i have decided to creat a new one again!!! :D

personally like it Callum If it were me which it isnt lol i would try both the large panels blue with the pink/red background but its soft and personally think its good.

Personally im not too sure on the PINK colour but i like the blue :D.. not that im telling you to re-design your entire logo lol.. thats just my view of it ;)

Well done Callum! Assuming you've done that by yourself, you've shown flare for colour matching - which means your one step further to designing the perfect website!

It's a shame one of the colours is a pink, it looks really neat in the logo, but I think you might have to sacrifice it for the entire site. Try a SLIGHTLY darker blue.

I think you need to forget about the pink where the website is concerned. Maybe use the same pink for your hyperlinks or Headings and Sub Headings.

It's a shame, but I'm afraid the pink doesn't work that well. :(

I agree. There's too much of the same colour going on. Your suggestion of a darker blue might be less "distracting" than the current colour scheme.

Callum, I'd also suggest tweaking/lowering the "bevel and emboss effect" on your text. Sometimes less is more. :thumbs_up:

Callum, Try This....

- Replace pink in the top, with the background of the navigation payne. (so it goes dark blue to lighter blue)
- Make the background white.
- Strip back all the blending tools on the text, and replace it with the default "Outer Glow" if using Photoshop
- Then try the Nav Payne and the main window, a really light blue colour, so it's just visible above the white....but not too over-powering

Make the nav payne and the main area the same blue....and alot lighter, so it can just be seen.

Personally, I'd go alot lighter still, but it's your design :)
