I understand that but even the booking guide on here doesn't talk down to anyone....i just found it very patronising to people who want to book a DJ.

I'm new to this game but i've noticed that there are quite a few people - Joe Public - who think that 'Playing a record / disc / MP3 or whatever..' is really easy.

If people left others to do there job i.e- B&G do there job, Hotel do there job and leave the DJ to do what he KNOWS everyone will get along just dandy.

Articles like this are just people who like to spout off about what they think they know.....should be named 'Idiots Guide To Stating The Obvious..'

Then write them a well-reasoned emailstating why you find the tone of the article frankly offensive and that it is giving you, and in all likelihood any other advertising DJs pause for thought on renewing with them. Don't lose your cool or be abusive just state why the content is wrong and how it could be remedied. It'll be good for you, and good for them.

what a load of door handles. that does nothing for the industry the implication is still that we are muppets with the intelligence of a small cactus has anyone emailed them for a laugh.

makes no reference to getting a professional or safety. very ameteur my 9 year old could write a better page than that.
