Very tempting but too big & heavy for most uses, I think you would be better off with the 15" version and use the passive X over.

I would contact class D and ask what the RMS rating is and also ask why they don't state it instead of stating program power handling to make them look more powerful than they really are.

Basically i am looking for some better clarity with some good quality "punch" as i do tend to play rnb/reggae/funk/soul.Some of the speakers i have heard are all very clean bit too sterile.
It could be a Mackie SRM 450 for the tops but i would hate for the thermal issue to kick whilst in a gig.Passive may be my best option.
I have heard about the Class D bass but i need a good solid opinion.I reckon i am very close to picking up a good set after working with Skytec for a while(!).Although it has been reliable i think i am ready to move up after establishing my music field. I am looking for un-biased opinions boys as it seems that everyone wants to "blow thir own trumpet" so to speak.If you have an expensive "branded" system but you think the Class-D's are better...let me know.

I use srm-450s and have only ever thermalled one once when some little numpty boy kept leaning over and putting the volume right up ..... a descreet word in his shell like put a stop to it..... even when just using the 450s without a bass bin and pushing them what i consider quite hard I have yet to have a thermal issue.

their 600 rms each and will be excellent im sure b&c make some of the best bass drivers out there, go on any speaker forum (speakerplans.com) and you will see they are a pro driver.
