I got a letter from someone called Bill today. It contained a DVD R purporting to have several 'promotional' albums on it. The very eclectic list includes.......
Disney Channnel - Very Best Of
Feeder - Picture of Perfect Youth
Hed Kandi 67 - Disco Kandi in the Mix
High School Muiscal - Sing Along
Jethro Tull - The Best of Acoustic
Kosheen - Damage
and many more, including Top 40 Singles and New Releases.
The DVD was packaged in a cheap home made cover and is obviously not kosher. The letter (flyer) says that this is a sample of the content he supplies to DJ's and Agencies and he is looking to enlarge his customer base.
Please tell me this isn't true, surely there aren't people out there subscribing to this thief.
He also asks me that if I'm not interested that I should post the disc back, and that he sorry for wasting my time. Unfortunately he hasn't put an address on, otherwise I would pass it on to the relevant record labels.
I'm certinly not going to be putting this disc anywhere near my PC, god knows whats on it.
