I'm going to the pub with 2 insufferable Liverpool fans, so will have to support British I suppose. :(

I've got a feeling Milan will win though.

I watched Liverpool beat Milan in the 2005 final in a bar in Italy. That wasn't much fun I can tell you....

Milan should win, but if Liverpool stop the supply line to Kaka, Seedorf was the main supplier at the San Siro agains't Man United, then who knows.

Two years ago, Kaka was the man of the first half, and Gerrard the second. I expect both will have fairly 'free' roles, in order to prevent the opposition from closing them out of the game.

I think it will be very tight, but I'm going with 2-1 Milan AET.

Well, half time and Liverpool have been superb, and it is criminal that they are 1-0 down :(

Kaka has been contained really well so far, Gerrard has been given little time on the ball either. That 360 turn on the ball by Kaka actually made me shout out loud!

My prediction looks less likely now though, as Liverpool look very likely to score... but then Kaka is almost certainly going to engineer a goal :)

Was it just me, or was there not meant to be 3 mins added time? The clock was stopped at 92:40, with the ball in Milan's half, plus Milan made a substitution in added time. By my reckoning, there should have been 1 more minute to play, and you never know - it could have been the difference :confused:

Yep, Liverpool were poor. So many passes in midfield surrendering possession, and too many high floated balls easily dealt with by the Besiktas centre backs. I really feel for Gerrard at times, he is a class above, puts 110% in, but is let down by the players around him :(
