I dont know much about actives other than I read on here--but I would ALWAYS listen to them first either in a hall, house or demo room.

Do not buy without listening using your usual mike, CD decks, usb reader etc.

It appears to be the same website & the same speakers as on your link, except the price for a pair is only £314.99 compared to the £459.99 on your link.

Strange...unless it's a misprint! :confused:

By the way - I use warrior speakers, but not the active ones, so I can't really comment on what they're like.

Silly me!

I didn't notice the word "active" was missing from the page in my link...sorry!

I've used warrior L300 passive speakers for many years now, and find them to be very good for my requirements.

However, there are some Mackie C300z speakers which a number of forum members seem to rave about, so they might be worth looking at. I'm even considering getting a pair myself.
