thats an average price for the whole country. southern dj's and dj's around london will be able to charge much more than us northern jocks.

I wonder how big thier poll was.....bet they didn't talk to every Wedding DJ in the land. :D They didn't talk to me!. Probably some junior hack rang around 2 or 3 local London DJ's and took an average - very scientific!!!
Having said that with the extra's, early set-up, microphone for the speaches etc. I'm at about £250.
I know plenty of DJ's who do a resonable job for a lot less, £120 ish, and both customers and DJ's are happy with that.

we've had this discussion many times, it always comes out that the north charges a lot less, usually around the £150-250 mark for weddings and less again for b/days etc.

& yet every friday night the towns of the north are awash with folks :Censored: :guinness: out of their heads, the money is obviously there (yes I know things do cost less ooop north, but not that much)
