i would look at popular holiday resorts, then do a search via google for local info re pubs, start with british run pubs, even if they cannot offer you work they may pass your details onto someone els, be prepared to initially pay travel etc untill you at least become established, my mate worked at a pub for 10 years in salou and could jump on a plane tomorrow and start there again tomorrow night....

Hi Charlie

I have worked as a redcoat and had stint as a DJ/ Technician on the First Choice cruise ship.
I loved the redcoat side of entertainment I got to DJ and ran the light and sound for the in house shows for 5 years.
The DJ'ing on the cruise ships was good I worked on the SS Ausonia and travelled the Med.
A close friend of mine now works as a full time DJ in Ibiza running a bar that plays indie/metal music and loves it, his been there about 10 yeares and got the job by fluke really. He originally went out for a holiday and had a play with the decks in a bar out there and they offered him the job. I would say this is not the best bet you may want to give some agents a call, me and my wife listed with agents and thats how we got the cruise job.
Make sure you know what your going out to and that you have accomodation and return flights before leaving. Remember money isnt everyting out there its about expierence.
