Hey i need to edit a few songs for an event I need to fade songs together and tht kind of thing

ive used similar programs before and they show the music in a line form (i you can understand me)

Any suggestions for a good free one?

When I recorded weekly comedy sketches for an internet radio station, I used Adobe Audition, which I found to be good.

Can't remember if it was free though.

I use Adobe Audition (previously known as Cool Edit Pro). I use it for doing 'Bits n Pieces' style music quizzes and I also use it to take out dodgy intros and bleep out swear words too. It's easy to use and when I got it, it was a bit pricey but worth it.

I would fully recommend it!
