Just back off my holiday - Atlantic City.....no not the U.S.A.....Butlins at Bognor Regis....:p
The kids wanted to go and that's the story i'm sticking with....LOL
My oh my, how it's changed...the bun fight is the same, people queing up for breakfast and evening meal but the entertatinment is something else...
They start the evening show's at 7:30pm and people will line up at 6:30pm to get the best seat's...:eek: but Mr Butlins does not scrape on his lights or sound - i must say i was impressed - i've just got a full understanding of DMX and how it works on a big scale and the sound system, you could feel the bass.
One night went to see the wrestling (my lad loves it) and the only place left was to stand near the speakers - it made small ripples in the pint pot i was holding and it also made me feel a little sick....you could feel the clothes beating and the hair's on the back of your neck stick out.....:D
On evening they had a 'Slice Of Cheese' evening for the adults, so i poped along to have a listen and look for any tips - not to many tips but a couple - might give them a try next time.
The point of this thread is - has anyone else seen what Mr Butlins do...?
And what are your thoughts on there set up..?
