Just had a call from my roadie to say he can't do Saturday. Unfortunately Saturday is one of those gigs where it will be really hard to do the set up on my own - limitted time available between end of meal and start of disco.

Is there anyone free Saturday fairly near to me - gig is near Ipswich, or has a roadie that might be able to come and help?

Fingers crossed!

Maybe you should think of down sizing if you cannot set your current disco on your own.Takes me about a hour and a half to set up are big show.

I guess generally I choose not to do it on my own - high blood pressure over the last two years has probably cemented that for me! However, i could almost certainly manage my standard rig on my own in that time at a push, but Saturday's gig will use the new arch and is really tight for time. Otherwise I wouldn't ask!

Matt, compromise if you have to---scrap the arch for this gig and use your old lighting stand--no one will know the difference---only you.

Otherwise you will have the moaners on your back---when are you going to start????
