Today's bargain is...

Twice a month I go and look at the charity shops for CD's and today did the trip - 4 shops in all, British Heart Foundation, Blind, NSPCC, and Cash Converters....I know that's not a charity but it seems to be an ex-DJ's not junk yard but selling point....if you get my meaning.:)

Any way went to Blind to check the CD's and because they get use too not many people coming in the one's that do you get noticed.

Nice lady behind the counter said 'I've been waiting for you...' - I look slighty confused :confused: ...'I've got these and thought you might like them...'

At £1.50....Total cost = £11 (gave her £15....it's a good charity any way)

She also told me she would keep any other's that she would get in as new stock...think I'm on to a winner here but did mention - politely - if I did not like them then I would not buy them and she understood.....got to put that one to the test....:)

Question - do any other people get their stock from these places or are you all snob's and buy new......?:p :D

I trawl the charity shops at least once a week. The ones we have in our small town are RSPCA, Scope, Sue Ryder, Cancer x 2 and Open Chest (for local people)Don't always find something I want but did get Billy Joel greatest hits double album (newest version) and Diana Ross greatest hits for £1 each, also got a 70's album called 70's Rewind (still sealed) for 75p.

Other places I look for 2nd hand cd's are ebay and the local car boot.

I LOVE a bargain!!

amozon is the place to get second hand cds from 1p each for some of the cds (£4 postage) but its a bargain at that price!
