Hi Guys, I'm looking for some suggestions for my next lighting purchase. I'm moving up and away from the entry level Soundlab Vasto / Geni Wild Blaze end of things.
I'm looking for a pair of scanners (moving mirror - pan and tilt), weant them to be linkable and ideally DMX although I'll just master / slave them for starters.
Not really got a massive budjet to spend, upto around £200. Has anyone got any suggestions for new bargains that are out there, or good second hand buys to look out for?
Cheers, Si

Save up another £120 on your budget and get the Dynamo scans.... For the money they are great and it will give you 4 individual scans to use. Personally i'd go for the 4 rather than the twins as you have more choice when setting up.

Have a look at the Acme super leos, I run 4 of these and think they're superb
Admitidly brand new slightly over your budget but look at the "bay" usually a couple on there.

Wait until the end of July when the new 250 watt Dynamo scans & barrels become available at £99 each , I think it will be well worth waiting.
I will be going for 2 of each they should link together well, you can get a flight case to take all 4 for £75.00.

prob worth waiting as you may see the normal 100w dynamos drop in price... as if i had a choice of 4 250w at £296.00 or 4 100w at £319 i know which i'd be buying..... (going on current prices and the suggestion on the above post of the 250w being £99 each)
If however it was around £200 for 4 100w then they would really be a contender especially as i know how bright the 100w versions currently available are and the fact i know for most standard disco functions the 4 100w are plenty bright enough.
