Meet up in August

Hi Guy's an Girls

We have put together a meet up in Egham on Sunday 5th. August 2007

Admission is free and children are very welcome.

This is not trade show and has no hidden agendas at all.

The meeting place is only mins off the M25 of the Staines Junction.

Large room, good car parking, cheap drinks. and there are quite a few eating

places near by.

There will be Guests attending for those who want to take part and play with

bits of kit and accesiors for sale

I must stress that the whole idea of this is a meet up.

On the day you will be asked if you want this happen again and where do we

go from here do we make it a workshop etc.

More news to follow and will keep you posted.

The meet up is based on just a meet up for dj's to come along enjoy a drink and meet, not assocatiated to any body. I'm doing this on my own back.

I have been in touch with MDD, and other forums.

To make it a bit more interesting I have Denon coming down to show their equipment and for dj's to use the new HD2500.

S.E.D.A. NADJ will be there in attendance

I have a speaker supplier coming down not to sell but to do a workshop type of style semi techie chat on crossovers but will cover this more once I have the full details.
There will be odds and ends for sale .

But I must stress this is not a trade show.

I have just the date out so dj's can make a note of it.

The reason I am doing this.

I have so much help from dj's some I have not meet only spoken to or

through pm's etc.

I can now try and give something back to the great profession we are in.

If it helps one new dj on the day then it has been worth it, is the way I am looking at it.

The response has been very good and could work out to be an on going meeting place if required that we can not decide till after the day.

Once again dj's may bring their families so no baby sitters required.

I could if we get enough people say yes we could have a barbecue there.

which would be the only cost on the night unless some one is in that trade.

The feed back has been great

The Meet is on in Egham. Thanks to all those who have replied on the forum

and by pm and e-mails.

This meet is for all, a social meeting, get together bring the family etc.

For those that want to to browse and look the following will be there.

A Base bin work shop with cross overs (This is for anyone with any queries on this subject who wants help and advise bring your tops if your not sure and want to try out and test etc,)

I am hoping that M.D.D. forum will be there,

There will be items for sale from DJ's (if you want to sell anything please bring it with you)

Once again I must stress this only a meet up, it is not a trade show, there is loads of room, if you just want to chat, thats fine, I have only put the other parts on to make it a bit more interesting for for those who want it.

No one will be looking for new trade ect.

All parties are of the same opinion, to help and assist if required.

Go past the club take the next turning left and park in the metal fenced off car park. and enter the club from the car park.

Very easy to find 5 mins from the M25.

That's the exact reason I can't make it...I have a Sunday wedding disco with quite an early start & daytime set up!

From my experience the DJ season is all year round.


There are Birthday's Christenings, etc.

So why do we have meetings?

Cos there are some that do want to and work round these dates.

Yes there are other items going a week before and during the month etc.

I choose this weekend for a reason. If one dj turns up then it's been a result.

If someone get something out of the evening then once again it's a result.

I have asked if any one can not make it then pm if interested to attend

another date.

To date no that can not make it has pm'd me, what I have had is

loads of interest about the date in question and how many will be attending.
