Some of you don't like these and some do. I like them but do agree that at weddings it's probebly not everyones cuppa - apart from Dragonfly. :)
So I have came up with an idea.
You can reverse these and leave blank on the other side.

I have an idea to place these up at weddings leaving it blank but have two smallish fans blowing down to the ground and attached to the blank screen some shreaded foil - the type you see on those funny wigs, tinsel wigs I think? and add two spot lights to light it up a bit, maybe LED par cans - mix it up a bit colour wise.
Question is do you think this would look naff? would it look more like a quiz show rather than a disco?
Your thoughts please.
Thanks.

I was on the verge of getting a banner...until I asked for advice here & the majority of members suggested they were not really appropriate for weddings, so I scrapped the idea & flushed it down the Armitage Shanks!

I saw some large twirly foil things like stretched springs which were approx 5 ft high and 1 ft width, these were hung on lighting t bars with parcans pointing up from the floor with gels on. Looked very nice, they spun slowly, due to gravity or something similar, but thought it was too slow for disco effect. Looked well good though, on a par with those flame type effects.

I take that as a yes then?
Know the type you mean....not thought of that, more investigation..
I'm hoping the fan will be fast enough to make them glitter a bit quicker if you take my meaning...
Thanks.

I worked in a special needs school for 6 years and for this reason wouldnt go down that route as these things were everywhere the kids loved them , look great in the garden though hung from trees.
ive had as said nothing but good things said about my banners and have tried to make them almost part of the show. penmare best option for what you are thinking of is mood bars ..... but then i didnt go down that route either as most of the people reading this have ....... and im different.
