View Full Version : Poll - What Features do you want in a Client Area

Following on from this thread (http://www.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=7344), I'm considering developing an alternative to the DJ Intelligence system which would be a client area more geared towards the client themselves - i.e. their name, event details, outstanding balance etc. would be held in a database which you (the DJs) would be able to add / edit / remove clients from easily.

The client login would be a definite feature, as it's this that makes the "client area" just that. There are other features which are further possibilities in the client area, though, and even further features (like an availability checker outside the client area) which are made possible because of the bookings database.

Anyway, to get some feedback, gauge interest and see what you guys might actually want from it I set up a vote - Click Here (http://www.votelists.com/list.php?id=314).

You can vote for (+) and against (-) each feature, but if you don't care one way or the other then don't click either!

I'm not entirely sure if voting is limited. If not, please don't vote for something more than once just because you would really want it - let's try and keep it representative!

If there's a feature you'd like that isn't there, you can add it (you have to log in though, takes 2 mins).

Hopefully you'll vote like mad. If not - was obviously a daft idea :D

marc,

I have put together a flow chart showing you exactly what I want - will email to you when I get home later. Not sure it is quite like what you are suggesting above and certainly nothing like the work you did for Elite.

The flow will I hope explain it to you!

Just wondering why you didn't put the poll on the thread, rather than having to follow a link? (You can set up multiple choice polls easily enough)

The number of options on the forum is a maximum of 10. This started at 13 with the possibility of more.

Also wasn't sure if the forum would allow multiple votes or limit members to one vote each, but that doesn't matter as reason #1 was enough.
