on my new PAT cert it has the business name.

just thought i would ask other peoples opinion before i display them on my site.

Mines isn't on public display. It is stored on my server though, if anyone needs to see it I can just provide them with a link to it.

Hi Buster,

Personally, I don't think it's necessary to display specific PAT & PLI details on your website.

In my case, I only get asked for them about 10-20% of the time anyway.

The important thing to do on your website it to say that you have PLI & PAT, and simply to state that copies of the certificates are available on request.

It works for me!

why not just submit them to the PAT and PLI validators on this site and then you can display the "reviewed and approved" icon link. You could put the certs on the site as well, but keep the links private/password protected. That way, if anyone desperately wants to see the certificate you could email them the link/password. Only serious enquiries would be bothered, and it keeps personal information away from them that don't need it.

If your sending out booking documents etc anyway, you've then sent off your address so they can send you everything back.

Once I get round to the re-design of my site I will be including a postal address on the contact page anyway - as I don't see it as much of an issue. I would however blur out how much your PLI cost - as some clients might think it's a little cheap or expensive, ask questions etc.

If and when you do upload them to your site. Make sure you PDF them, it looks much more professional.

You raise a good point, although I would have thought it would be their post code if the mail is sent to the PO, or your post code if you have your PO mail sent directly.
