Simple white light effect

Hi all, looking for a sweeping white light effect, not too fast or too slow, tried , wait for it, "soundlab patrol scanner", but not fast enough, and would prefer effect that barrels, any idea's?. Must be white only, I'm not dmx so would either have to be stand alone mode or sound activated or both!!!!.

Any effect that uses seperate gobo and color wheel would work. Simply remove color wheel or lock on open color.

Maybe buy a chauvet corona/acme duet and take out the dichroics? Might be an idea to try find an ebay one. Nice and fast.
