Not entirely, it's made by Jim Henson productions (parent company of the Muppets) but it is made in Oz

Bit parts are pretty much always cast in the country of filming.

Which is why half of New Zealand was hired to do the final battle scene in Lord of the Rings. Death screams with a Kiwi accent?
