I dmx them but you can use the internal programs to chase, colour mix, sound to light etc.

Mine can't be master, slaved but I'm sure you can get those that do.

I used them for the first time last night, really like them. :)

Actually it looks crap!

Led lights when reflected off a mirror ball just show the LED pattern, not the combined light pattern/colour. Perhaps if a diffuser glass/sheet was used in front of the leds then it may work, but my trials were very unsuccessful.

Best results from the mirrorball were obtained by using a scanner on open white aimed at the ball, this was even better than that from proper mirrorball pinspots. Only problem was how to mount the scanners in front of the ball so that the light reflected out into the dance area.

Not quite.

I only had one mirrorball hanging 18" in front of the centre of my deckstand. I used a pair of Martin Roboscans mounted upside down on some Ultimax accessory horns which were attached to the uprights of my deckstand. I didn't get any pictures, but that was the night of my £50 tip.

I found it a pain to set up, so it will not be a regular feature of my rig.

Mine are on legs that are permantly fixed to the top of the stands, really easy, cables taped up after before anyone comments! :D Stands can be used for either t-bars or
3mtr truss.

other option is a stand just for a couple of mirror balls behind me in centre then usual t bars either side.
