We had been selling a car up until last week.

Tonight I took a phone call....classic -

Me - 'Hello'
Them - 'I see you are advertising a Vitara?'
Me - 'We were and sorry it's been sold'
Them - 'Where are you?'
Me - 'Why?'
Them - 'I would like to know how far away you are?'
Me - :confused: 'Why?'
Them - 'So I can come over and have a look'
Me - 'But I no longer have a Vitara'
Them - 'So why are you advertising one?'
Me - :confused: :Laugh: :Laugh: :Laugh: :Laugh:
Them - 'Why are you laughing......I have better thing to do with my time....'
Me - :confused: :confused: :confused: :Laugh: :Laugh: :Laugh: :Laugh:

Phone went dead after that......:D :D :D

Anyone else had similar?

Yeah, I was interested in buying a Vitara from someone in Lincolnshire. The conversation went like this.... :tongue2:

Reminds ME of a conversation I wish I'd never even STARTED...

...just after I'd started working in a bank, I came back from lunch one day & saw a note on my desk with a phone number & a message asking me to call Liz.

It turned out to be the number of Buckingham Palace!
