lookign for a new decks stand

I decided due to a large amount of my venues having limited setup space to downsize my trussing. Decided to go for a 6ft decks stand.
Ok here the questions I need a stand that is very sturdy and quick to put together. Low in weight as well would be a bonus. Needs to be 6 ft wide for the tabler part and a very sturdy cross beam/trussing.
i have been looking at three so far but any more suggestions are appreciated.
Ultimax 6ft with dual crossbeams 1.7 metre about £190 give or take
Giraffe 6ft with double crossbeams 6 foot about £180 give or take
Prolight 6ft with single crosssbeam about £100

wasnt sure single crossbeam would be strong enough though.
Also anyone know if the ultimax is slot together or bolt together?
Also are they very sturdy i.e lickely to wobble at all?
Any tips on using them?
Also specific question for Penmare here what type is your decks stand please as I liked the look of it?

Thanks for any help guys budget has to be £200 or under so any price hunting would be great as well.

I, together with a number of other members of this forum, use Ultimax stands.

Personally, I find them easy to bolt together, are sturdy and relaible, and are easy to get replacement parts for if needed. I have used various of their stands for as long as I can remember, and wouldn't use anything else.

The dual crossbar will allow for extra stability and an added dimension in setting up your lighting (e.g. Ultimax/Ultimate make lighting clamps which hold two effects for this type of crossbar).

I have the prolight 6' with a set of 4' crossmembers and bars, plus a 3m Maplin-special (boo-hiss) gantry for the occasional venues that are large enough or for extra-special shows where I need LOTS of hanging space (whereby I have the prolight 6' stand+crossbar and set the gantry higher up).

This means I use the prolight deckstand for every gig, either at 4' or 6' width, with or without the overhead bar. The 4' overhead bar (actually 6' as it is wider than the deckstand) isn't particularly strong (25mm square) but holds half a dozen effects without any problem. The 6' bar (actually 8' ditto) is very rigid (50mm x 25mm) and could probably hold an elephant.

Max flexibility for well under £200 especially if you already have a 'biggie'.

If you are using deckstands with overhead bars, then go for the dual bar. It is much stronger and takes a lot more weight then the single bars.

Another vote for ultimax here. At only £10 more than the giraffe, it would be silly not to.

Wouldn't bother with the prolight one.... the ones i've seen have pretty thin bars and aren't overly sturdy.
