Hi Folks

Im having trouble with my personal laptop (Non DJ'ing) and would like to wipe the system back to basic like the day I purchaesd it.
Does anyone know how to do this or is there software that will allow me to do it?

reformat and start again unless you have a restore point set in xp

What make is it? Many either come with recovery CD / DVDs or have a recovery partition on the hard disk.

Hi Marc the manual says it comes with a recovery cd which is partition on the hard drive. Its says to press F10 on start up but nothing happens?

Are you the first owner of the laptop? Previous owner(s) may have deleted the recovery partition.

If you are, pressing F10 should work. Do it from a "cold" boot (i.e. power off, not a restart) and tap F10 all the way through (though it should definitely "kick in" before the Windows loading screen).
