Free Maplin Vouchers

I was clearing out a cupboard and came across a Maplin catalogue which I had bought to get a discount voucher in it....

Anyway, there's a whole book of vouchers for various spend amounts: -

£60 or over - £3 voucher
£100 - £5
£200 - £10
£300 - £15

Valid until 31st August 2007. Can be used online on over the phone by quoting the codes on the vouchers.

There's no way I'll use them all, so if anyone wants one just PM me - first come, first served :)

If I had those vouchers, I'd probably go looking for something just to take advantage of them (hence fall into their 'trap'!). Their remote controlled helicopters/cars/boats look ace! :D

I only buy emergency PC parts at Maplin, because they're only about 5 mins away from me and hold a lot of stock.

Their no quibble money back policy is great. If I'm not sure what's gone wrong in a PC, I just go and buy replacement parts for all the usual suspects - swap them out one by one until I diagnose the problem, then take all the stuff back I don't need for a full refund :)

Wouldnt it be eaiser n cheaper to just diagnose the fault, Rather then taking easy way out

That's not alway possible without swapping parts out, though.

For example I had a graphics card failure which could have been either the graphics card, PSU or Motherboard, and the machine wouldn't boot. Any diagnosis would involve swapping out at least the PSU and / or graphics card.

And how could it be cheaper, as I only keep the part(s) I need?
