Scanners...one down.

Just checking my gear over for a gig Saturday....checking the scanners and the first one went through the warm up...then shut down, didn't even get to the light.....
I figured it blew the fuse on the cable.....tried another cable same thing, just after the move around, just before the light come on it stopped again.

Looked at the other 3 they are fine just this one....

I figure it's blowing the cable fuse before it does any damage to the unit...

Can anyone help?
Has anyone else had this problem?

I had this with one of mine just kept blowing fuses on plug in .... took it in and was fixed under warranty , can't remember what the problem was but get it looked at took about 3 days for mine to come back and never had another problem.

Tony mirror balls dont blow fuses??????

Have no warranty.....second hand...:(

Looks like i'll have to take it in.....have to go with three...might look a bit silly...:o
Swap with a Gobo.....

Took the back off had a quick look inside....swapped the light....just when it get to the light it flips over....strange:confused:

I've also just dropped my cordless mic on the floor....:(
It didn't bounce to well.....think thats FUBAR...don't work now.

Give it up for the night now....cut my losses.:)

I've got another mic...so that's not a problem just toying with the idea to hook up the smoke meter or sort the CD's out...:rolleyes:

Sell one and buy a Dynatwin or as others have said just buy another scanner. I'm sure I've seen them somewhere in singles.

Budget is a bit tight, what with bass drivers and mirror balls plus extra's........
Might sell them all....i'll have a think!
