Weather related problems

Hi to all you dj collegues down south,hope that the recent flooding is not causing to much dammage to your business.Just how bad is it in your area?

i live in tenbury wells, it has been on the news a couple of nights ago. I have lost out on two discos because of the weather

i did a gig last night in Grimsby and it was pouring down i was outside under a gazeebo and was nearly ready to pack up as it did not look like it was going to stop. But half way through it did stop for a little while, and i even did an extra hour, they were all wet and loved it.

I once played outside in perfect weather, then it rained - and my speakers and lights were outside! :(... Fortunately it only rained for about 5 minutes, just long enough for me to put on 'I Love a Rainy Night' and have everyone who had run in from the rain run back out and dance in the rain :D

I was a bit worried about Nick's Marquee gig on Saturday, it was for na family we've done other jobs for before on their tennis court (in a dip in the garden (banks on all sides)) Near Aylesbury, but no water problems at all!
