Hi, would it be possible that someone on here may want to share ideas for a customer feedback for?

i normally ask the customer if they would like to write to me with any comments, but if i have a form with me i can leave it with them and they can fill in a send it off to me.

Cheers

This has been discussed here recently.

I have to say I agree with those who don't think they are a good idea, mainly because (as Darren pointed out) by the time the couple are back from their honeymoon & get round to filling in the form, how much will they really remember?

After every gig, I go up to the bride & say "I hope that was ok for you" which leads to an honest and instant reply.

It also uses the "personal" approach, which many forum members rate so highly.

Absolutly fantastic idea, best thing I've started doing for a long while.

Getting more and more and indeed better work in part comes from having very successful and happy clients. How can your prospective clients be confident that you are a great DJ if you can't show them feedback from prevuious clients. Seems to make perfect sense to me. We all do a lot of things on recomendation or due to consumer confidence. Seems perfectly right we do the same.

Early days for me so far - have an on line survey through DJ Intelligence I am using which I posted a link to in another thread, might be worth having a search for it, but you are welcome to have a look at it and see what you think (or PM if you can't find it)

Also recently started taking on-line submissions (http://www.vectisvibe.com/pages/feedbackform.htm), but usually from guests not from the hirer. I get their email addresses from their request/dedication submissions prior to the event.

Vectis,

I'm in the camp that don't think questionnaires are a good idea, but I must say that yours is one of the best I've seen, mainly due to it's simplicity.

My only other comment is that I think some of the questions need a bit of re-wording so that the possible answers make more sense.

For example, there is a question "Was the audio equipment of suitable quality for the venue?" You would expect a yes or no answer, but the options of excellent, good, adequate & sub-standard don't really make a lot of sense in relation to the question.

I think it would read better if the question was changed to something like "What did you think of the equipment's audio quality for the venue?"

Also, I think "Were you happy with the responses to any requests that were made" would be better as "What did you think of the responses to any requests that were made?"

I don't mean to be picky, just giving my honest opinion.

:)

Dead right Rob, been meaning to do it for a while. Original was put together in a hurry and I never got round to fixing it. Always planned to put it 100% online but then realised the value of having a piece of paper to put in front of new clients.
