What have you done that you knew was wrong, either before you did it, or very shortly afterwards?!
1) Playing " Oops up" at a wedding reception full of kilted Scots!
2) Playing " You'll never walk alone" at one full of Everton supporters! ( I survived that one)
3) Opening a fire door to get the gear out ( without getting the alarm disabled) and thus summoning the fire brigade!
If I remember any more. I'll post them. Come on, own up folks, I can't be the only one!:o

Setting a fire alarm off so I could get out of a dire function.
Just 5 guests turned up to a hall that could hold 300. Them staring at me and me staring back.
Got the roadie to blast the detector at the back of the stage with the smoke machine.
Worked a treat, we all went outside and was told to pack up by the client as he was going into town to salvage something from his birthday.
No, I never lost any sleep over it................not my fault he had no mates! :D

Don't start that one, Pal! On the handful of occasions where the Birthday Boy (as opposed to quite a few birthday girls) had such entertainment(s) :p :D

Ok my roadie swapping lamps (One of the venues we did had some 250w halogen lights. I had run out of spare lamps. Checked the toolbox. Whilst doing that my roadie was undoing the lamp holder in one of the installed lights in the venue and swapped it with our blown one. (Afterwards telling the manager that the lamp had blown in the light.
Very naughty.
I didnt know he had done it. because the roadie said to me. I found a spare lamp to replace it. during the gig.
Then on the way home he tells me that he swapped it.
:D :D :D First of all i was gonna kick off at him. But i giggled.

My current residency is in a nice 2 function room country hotel, which I suppose you could say is family run.
The owners are very specific (and fairly old) about the volume of the disco, so as they're helping the buffet in they stand facing the audience with their hands behind their back making a "turn it down" gesture.
Once the buffet is all set and the door is closed (I.E. They've gone off, and I won't be seeing them again that night) volume goes right back up again at the start of the next song.
I'm afraid it's not very naughty....but the best I can do...
OH! And I seem to collect 4 ways from bands, schools and other performers....I never actually realise until the next time we're out....so I suppose that's not my fault!

I had a venue knock me for a nights money they said I didn't pull enough punters in (only about 4-500!) it was a club with a really nice EV 4 way MT active pa system so before I left I took the trouble to rewire the amp rack for them, 5k of sub bass into each of the mids and 5k of bass onto the really nice 2" compression drivers!
so they wern't really so smart! and I bet they didn't do it again either!
not something I'm really proud of and it was a long time ago! but what goes around........

I once put an incredably powerful smoke machine under the wheelchair of the local care in the community nutter while he wasn't looking. I will remember his reaction when I fired it until the day I die http://planetsmilies.net/vicious-smiley-1862.gif (http://planetsmilies.net)
Could have been worse, I used confetti cannons in those days too.

A company I used to work for set fire to a venue in Hatfield at one of our rock nights, with some pyros. No options other than to hold their hands up & admit fault.
