View Full Version : Best 250 watt gobo flower?

Hi guys,

I currently have an Acme Exorcet gobo flower.

It's a great effect, but being only 100 watts it gets somewhat overshadowed by my 600 watt mushroom light.

I'm therefore looking to upgrade to a 250 watt gobo flower.

I just intend to let it run in stand alone mode, so a DMX facility is not essential, and I don't want a flower that strobes, as it's main use will be at weddings.

My budget is £100 - £150.

I was looking at the Wild Tech gobo flower and also the Manic 2 which Terralec sell, but there may be better ones which I don't know about.

Ideas & suggestions please.

The Wildtech is pretty good, holds it's own against a Martin Starflash

Pair of nice LFX Revolvers on DJ Bids at the moment :P :D

Slightly out of budget though, but this is due to the flightcase, which is over £100 in itself

Why not - that's allowed as long as you don't have a financial interest.

Good point the last thing you could do is take the shutter thing out.
