What ever happened to Ramsa speakers. Seem to remember them being popular and very good?

I have. I wouldn't say they were ever very popular in the disco world, but certainly good cabs. They were made by Panasonic I believe.

Surly you jest? (I know don't call you......)
thought you would have seen these! made by panasonic (technics) and came out at the start of karaoke think was called ws200 or something like that was 1 x 12" +hf and 1 x 12" sub? found their way into quite a few small clubs
I still have a controller/eq for these! but no speakers
I installed quiet a few of the full range cabs, sounded ok but tweeters go real easy as only about 200watts per cab!
havn't been made for a good few years now mainly because they were to expencive and to unrelyable

I know I have the same thoughts about that karaoke stuff (yuk) nothing worse than some drunk girlie (or bloke) screaming I will survive into a nasty cheep mic or worse still an sm58! not at all fluffy!

Thanks folks, i was getting worried that it was a drug induced dream seeing these speakers in a dingy club and also seeing them used in a theater. Do remember thinking they were good though.
