i am think of making another setup so then it would be one for my dad and one for me :p and i have been looking around and come up with this what would you go for?

Set 1
.Studiomaster mixing desk with built in 1200w peak amp.
.Pair of 15" peavey hisys 2 600w peak each.
.laptop and control panel.
.Shure wired mic and another radio mic.
.Beyerdynamic dt100 headphones.


Set 2
.Rcf Powered 12" speakers.
.soundcraft mixing desk (unpowered).
.laptop and control panel.
.Shure wired mic and another radio mic.
.Beyerdynamic dt100 headphones.

Set 2 but go for 15" RCF if you can. (RCF ART 315 A)

oh set 2 i heard the rcf 310a 10" powered used by a band and i can say they knock my jbls and knock mackies out of the water i know many people on this forum are mackie lovers but with the rcf you will need to get a sub i wouldnt bother with the 15" the 10" or 12" will do the job

But the sound you get from a band and the sound from a disco are completely different things, so there's no real comparison is there?

but the band did play some music through the speakers from a cd and still sounded great
