Which iPod?

Ok guys, I need some assistance on this one.

I have a 30GB Video iPod, which has seen better days (rather scratched, broken headphone adapter). I still use it for video playback at discos (sound and video via dock) and also in the car sometimes (via car dock).

I want an iPod that I can listen to normally (i.e. without dock!) and also a personal one.

My two choices are:

iPod Nano Black 8GB - £134.99

OR (another)

iPod Video White 30GB - £152.99

(both from www.ebuyer.com)What are your thoughts, I'm mainly torn as the prices aren't that much different, I have seen a Nano up close, and my only peave is the screen is quite small, but for the amount of music I actually want to carry - 8GB is enough.

I say go for the best value, which in this case is the iPod video...

...almost 4 times the storage of the nano, but only £18 more!

Ipod video does have a better screen and more storage but the Nano has a noticably better sound. I listened to both and was shocked by the result!

Thanks for everyones comments, I've been thinking the 30GB Video...so I think that'll be the choice I make when I buy tomorrow.
