Problems With Abstract Extreme DJ XP2 Scanner

During my gig tonight i plugged the scanner in to find the mirror moved for a split second and then the scanner just died the fan was spinning. But no lights to even show the lightshow mode is in s2l or dmx

I dont think its the lampholder. definetely not the lamp. (because the mirror would still move)

anyone got any suggestions.

I personally think the DMX module or could be a problem with the transformer.

As the scanner started doing something (albeit for a split second) I'd say (from choice of your conclusions) that it's more likely to be the transformer. Did the unit chuck the DMX thru as per usual (I.E. did the DMX OUT socket work)?

The light didnt do anything after that. the mirror movement just went dead. with no lights on the bottom at all.
